News in February 2009
In the business year 2008 the Metall Technologie Holding was able to increase its position at the European and Asian market with its five operating companies B.M.I., IVA, MAHLER, RIVA und SCHMETZ again. Vacuum furnaces, conveyor furnaces as well as protective gas and nitriding furnaces are still the main part of MTH’s product range. These furnaces are manufactured at the sites in Germany, France and Poland.
In February 2009 a majority share in the Shanghai based Shanghai Huisen-MTH Industrial Furnaces Co. Ltd. in Shanghai was acquired. Its main products include batch type and continuous controlled atmosphere furnaces for carburizing, carbonitriding, gas nitriding, nitrocarburizing processes. They also deliver different kinds of vacuum furnaces. Those products are widely used in aircraft and aerospace, automobile industry, machining and tools, ship building and commercial heat treatment, etc. Shanghai Huisen-MTH Industrial Furnaces Co. Ltd. will persistently support the growth rate of the Metall Technologie Holding.
The group has now wordwide totally six operating companies in four countries with approximately 280 staff members and a turnover of approximately € 90 Mio.
