Also in the business year 2009 the Metall Technologie Holding was able to sustain its position at the international market with approximately 250 staff members and its presently six operating companies B.M.I. (Lyon), Huisen (Shanghai), IVA (Dortmund), MAHLER (Plochingen), RIVA (Miedzyrzecz) and SCHMETZ (Menden) despite the economic difficult situation due to the financial and economic crisis.
The scope of delivery still includes mainly vacuum and conveyor belt furnaces as well as protective gas and nitriding furnaces which are manufactured at the three sites in Germany and in France, China and Poland.
Already now the in February 2009 initiated majority participation in the Shanghai Huisen-MTH Industrial Furnace Company Ltd. turned out to be very positive and productive with a very good result. This company mainly manufactures chamber and atmosphere furnaces for carbonising and carbonitriding, gas nitriding and carburising. In addition Huisen also supplies vacuum furnaces for the local market upon request. The furnaces are generally used for the automotive sector, the tool industry, the aerospace industry as well as heat treatment service shops.
